Kickstart Kilifi was privileged to host students from Strathmore University. The students were on a school field mission in Kilifi County. It was a fun filled interaction coupled with learning moments between Kickstart Kilifi beneficiaries and students from Strathmore University.

Kickstart Kilifi director, Henry Mkare, had a chance to share his transformational journey with the team and the reason that led him to begin Kickstart Kilifi, milestones he has achieved, challenges he has endured and the immense opportunities he grabbed that has propel Kickstart Kilifi to where it is.

The day was also graced by other staff members from Kickstart Kilifi who were Shali Mwadime (life skills trainer), Steve Omondi (Digital skills trainer) and Alan Munga Ajira Digital Program. The Strathmore University students also made a presentation about digital marketing that enables the Kickstart Kilifi beneficiary to gain a lot of insights on the field. They were able to network and change their mindsets.
